This website was created by BUMC radiology to assist clinicians in ordering imaging studies appropriately. Recommendations are largely informed by the ACR appropriateness criteria, a direct link to which is provided at the bottom of the page. Navigation tabs embedded within this website are meant to consolidate recommendation articles pertaining to common clinical complaints into a more intuitive format. Recommendation articles are organized by section. We've also included a FIRST STEP radiology exams summary sheet as well as a frequently asked questions section.
